Heart of Kashi, The central city walk

Explore the central part of the city including Godaulia, Vishwanath Gali, Chauk and Manikarnika areas. Pass through the traditional and colorful Bazars. Be the part of the crowded street. Central part is comparatively crowded but there is a kind of peace in the crowd. It is noisy but there is a kind of silence in the noise. Your accompanying guide will make you to feel the same. Walking through the Vishwanath Gali you will arrive in chauk area (Main Square) where you will see the wholesale flower market. Preceding forward you will arrive to the Manikarnika Ghat (the greatest cremation ground) where cremation is a celebration of libration.

Things to see:  Godauliya Crossing, Dashaswamedh Ghat, Vishwanath Gali, Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Gyan Vyapi Mosque(From Out Side), Kachauri Gali and Khoya Gali, Flower Market, Chauk Thana and Crossing, Brahmnal and Manikarnika Ghat, Pan Shops and Dal Mandi etc.

Note: Please wear shoes and comfortable dress. This walk can be conducted at any time in the day. Photography is generally allowed everywhere except cremation ground and some temples. Cab services for Airport/Railway Station Transfer are available with additional charges.
