The Labyrinth of North City Walk

Explore the Northern Part of the city including Thatheri Bazaar, Panchanganga, Kalbhairav and Rajghat areas. North part of the city is the oldest. Narrow allies indulged with each other make a shape of labyrinth. Our guide will take you in from the metal market Thatheri Bazaar to Alamgiri Mosque and Bindu Madhav Temple. Then walk further north through the quiet lanes to the Kalbhairava Temple. Kalbhairava is known as the Kotaval (Chief of police officer) of   Banaras. He is the protector of the city. Walk further through the Visheshwarganj (Grain Market) area and end at Bhaisasur Ghat in Rajghat area.

Things to see:  Thatheri Bazaar, Sherwali Kothi, House of Bhartendu Harishchardra, Agrasen college, Alamgiri Mosque, Bindumadhav Temple, Panchganga Ghat, Kalbhairav Temple, Grain Market of Visheshwarganj, Malviya Bridge from Bhaisasur Ghat etc.

Note: Please wear shoes and comfortable dress. This walk can be conducted at any time in the day. Photography is generally allowed everywhere except cremation ground and some temples. Cab services for Airport/Railway Station Transfer are available with additional charges.
