Henna is a plant that has been used as a dye since the Bronze Age. It is widely used in India, where it is still a popular form of temporary body art. Varanasi, being a very ancient city, still practicing this traditional body decorating art. Women and kids like to decorate their palm on the occasion of different festivals and wedding.
In this guided tour we take a traveler to local family where you will be welcomed over a cup of tea and then family especially ladies would love to tell you the process of making paste of Henna. Accompanying story teller will also explain you about this traditional Hand art and he will translate you the explanations of the decorators.
