Teer Ghat se Meer Ghat, All Ghat Walk

Explore all eighty four Ghats of Varanasi and experience the life and activities happening on it. Ghats are the steps leading down to the water. There is a series of Ghats on the river front of the city with beautiful palaces, castles and houses above them. Our Guide accompanying you will narrate historical and cultural stories associated with them. You will also evidence numerous activities happening on the steps. Pilgrims will be bathing and doing rituals, Fishermen will be fishing, washer men will be washing the laundries, and people will be cremating the dead bodies and many more.     

Things to see: Local life and Activities happening on Ghats, Exteriors of beautiful and historical palaces and castles, View of river Ganga from different Ghats and angles, both cremation ground etc.

Note: Please wear shoes and comfortable dress. This walk can be conducted at any time in the day. Photography is generally allowed everywhere except cremation ground and some temples. Cab services for Airport/Railway Station Transfer are available with additional charges.
